Building on last two year's success with EconNect Africa JMCs Symposium, we are issuing a call for this year JMCs to participate in this year's program. Being part of this program will give you access to events that aim at supporting you in navigating the job market. Find below a snapshot of previous years' job market program. JMC Symposium

The Job Market Symposium is a yearly event designed to support PhD candidates preparing to enter this year's Economics Job Market.

The event serves two main purposes: First, it offers candidates a vital platform for presenting their research and obtaining constructive feedback from both our advisory committee and other faculty members. Second, it allows faculty to become acquainted with new and impactful research conducted by African job market candidates. You can see last year's event flier to the left.

Mock Interviews

Candidates who participate in the symposium will have the chance to do mock interviews with 1-2 faculty members from the distinguished EconNect Africa faculty advisors.
